MTV
This particular music channel is aimed at a target audience of around 13-21 year olds, the graffiti style logo makes it a lot more like able and approachable to a younger audience as it enables them to associate MTV with being 'cool' and 'trendy'. The most popular genre of music on his channel would be modern and pop, mainly chart hits at the time. This could usually lead on to being the count down of the top 40 chart hits etc. Many artists introduced and promoted on this channel would already be known worldwide. Artists such as Beyonce are seen as being god-like. Flawlessly beautiful, which most young teenager inspire to be like this could be supported by other artists regularly played that are also attractive females such as Taylor Swift and Rihanna. Another popular range of artists such as Calvin Harris and David Geutta are there to enable a dance genre to be present which relates to teenagers as this is the stereotypical age they will be partying.
MTV is owned by Viacom media networks. As well as this they own Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and spike. Comedy central is well known for recently buying the series friends. This particular series also appeals to a younger audience as it enables them to have an entertaining aspect swell as music channels and children's television like nickelodeon.
When children are beginning to come home from school MTV have decided to schedule a play list that appeals to the teenage audience. One Direction is a very popular band that is targeted toward young teenage girls. Due to a lot of girls being 'obsessed' with the idea of witnessing One Direction and there music on the television.

11:00pm is when the older end of the target audience is being targeted. Catfish being a show about couples that meet online and may not actually be who they say they are is usual aimed at a more mature audience. 16-21 is the age that would usually find this TV show interesting as they are likely to use social media themselves and may be interested to find out how it goes wrong. MTV have purposely scheduled this time after watershed as it is most likely when the older teenagers will be up, awake to watch this.
As demonstrated by the MTV logo we know that this is definitely appeals to a teenage audience. The logo is very graffiti like which stereotypically is what teenagers are associated with as well as being black and white it enables it to watermark the corner of the screen but not take away the attention of what's being played on the screen at the time.
Mezzo
Is a music channel based in France it evolves around the classical music genre. As well as this it also includes jazz, opera and ballet. It was created in 1992, which was an ideal time for particular genres to be enjoyed by everyone through technologies such as television. In 2010 the company created a partner channel called 'Mezzo Live HD'.
Due to the increase in people appreciating the visual side to music as well as the vocal side. 'Intermezzo' in 2011 was created to ensure and enable a visual effect for there audience. This consisted of a range of clips form there programmes.
In Scandinavia the channel is presented by NonStop television. This is ultimately apart of the very popular company Time Warner.
Due to it being a very cultural channel, consisting of opera and instrumental based music, the particular type of audience that the channel may aim it at would be a very specific audience aimed at people of the older generation who may appreciate an Internet in particular types of culture and older fashioned genres of music.
We can see from this particular website that the website that is present here is aimed at an audience that may be in a choir, orchestra or play an instrument. This is due to the pictures of the black and white image of the male playing the saxophone, a typical jazz instrument. As well as other imagines of currents classical musicals available and etc.
The Mezzo logo works very well at creating a sophisticated theme, the ruby red writing suggests luxury and elegance, being such a rich colouring will also be more of an inviting colour compared to a plain black or white.The font of the logo also remains very relaxing and simplistic. Being a very fair and pretty looking font it gives of the impression that this is a very peaceful and elegant channel.
P-Rock
This channel was based in the UK and consisted of many different genres of intense rock music such as punk, rap and hardcore artists. It was first created in 2002. The channel continued until 2003, for then it had been cancelled.
P-rock played videos most of the time on there channel, it was the complete opposite to channels such as MTV, as they offered more then just music videos. It played a range of different well-known rock bands and lesser known artists to provide more originality in there channel.
Popular bands that were regularly played during this particular channel were bands such as Rancid, Jimmy Eat World and The Vandals.
This particular song and music video of Jimmy Eat World reached over 16,000,000 views. This ultimately is a rather high viewing rate that makes it appear as a popular rock music video. The target audience for this seems to mainly be aimed at male. The older generation at 16+ also seems to be more interested with this particular genre as it is easier to understand.
Overall this channel was cancelled after one year. Sources say that it was not due to popularity but to funding from advertisement etc. Therefore the station was unable to carry on due to insufficient funds. Overall this may have been because companies expected the more popular music channels such as MTV to have more views so they would prefer to pay out and advertise there product there.
The logo that represents P-rock, is very harsh and intimidating looking logo. The colour surrounding the font appears very dark and is pressed against a very jaggered looking writing style. Hints of red can be seen on the outlines of the letters and this implies that this channel may come across as very scary or harsh compared to the calm and elegant impression 'Mezzo' gives off.
Clubland TV
This channel is apart of the sky network. Launched on the 28th of January it was immediately a success. The channel is very similar to MTV dance, both playing a similar sort of dance genre. Clubland TV overall remains to have 5 times the viewing of MTV dance.
This particular channel seems to be targeted at a younger audience. Simular to MTV the audience members of this would be young adults anyway from 16-25. Being the typical 'party' age. People are more likely to go on holidays to party islands, that are popular for its night life. As well as hosting ideal soundtracks and music videos to be played at uni parties and other private parties for this generation.
It is not only made available to the audience through television, but through android and IPad and iPhone. This specific use of media platform makes viewing a lot easier for there target audience as there phones and smaller gadgets are a lot easier to obtain and are suited better at a generation that remains very busy and technologic obsessed.

The word 'clubland' Is spelt out with tiny dots that make it appear as if it would be the type of font on the name of a club or a CD cover for this particular music, as seen in the pictures below we know that this type of fun font remains to be very popular in this genre and will appeal to any one of the same audience.

Possibly feel-good, up-beat club music. Blue Zone being the last of the group, suggests this could be played later on at night. Maybe at a time where people are out or want to have a party and decide to play the newest types of house/club music. This is the most likely time they are able to enjoy this type of music with there friends as it is the typical partying and clubbing time f the day - Late at night.

This particular channel is aimed at the older audiences known for playing music of a specific required taste. It aims to focus mainly on songs recognized for being successful in the past, as well as taking a liking into songs with very slow tempo.
Heart TV was created in October 2012. It consisted of playing non-stop music videos 24/7. It is not only available on SKY and Freesat, but also as a app. Which complies with the standards of modern life.

We are able to witness that the love heart symbol within the word, creates a more homely feel, which over all suggests how people may feel when listening to this particular music from the past as particular songs and videos may let the audience imagine a certain day or time at when they were once happy.
